This policy explains what personal information LayPave collects, why we collect it and what we do with it. It applies to this website and to enquiries made by phone or email. We handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

LayPave provides driveway, patio and paving services across Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and the surrounding Gloucestershire area. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. You can reach us at info@laypave.co.uk or on 0800 0294 475.

2. Information we collect

  • Your name, phone number, email address and postcode when you submit an enquiry form
  • Details of the work you are asking about, including anything you type in the message box
  • Correspondence with us by phone, email or messaging
  • Site survey notes, measurements and photographs taken with your permission
  • Basic technical data such as pages visited and approximate location, collected by analytics tools where they are enabled

We do not collect payment card details through this website. Invoices are settled directly with us after the work is complete.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a free site survey
  • To prepare and send you a quotation
  • To carry out, schedule and invoice for work you have agreed to
  • To keep a record of work carried out, for guarantee purposes
  • To improve the website and understand which pages are useful

Our lawful bases are your consent (when you submit an enquiry), performance of a contract (when we carry out work for you) and our legitimate interests in running and improving the business.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • The form and email providers that deliver your enquiry to us
  • Suppliers or subcontractors where they need it to complete part of your job
  • Our accountant, insurers or professional advisers where necessary
  • Authorities, where we are required to by law

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months. Records relating to completed work, including quotations and invoices, are kept for six years to meet accounting and guarantee obligations, then deleted.

6. Your rights

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
  • Ask us to delete your information where we no longer need it
  • Object to or restrict how we use it
  • Withdraw consent for marketing at any time

7. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies to keep it working properly and, where enabled, to measure how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so does not stop you using the site or contacting us.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including secure transmission of form submissions and limiting access to the people who need it. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send sensitive financial details through the contact form.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
